RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) in electrical goods is the new EU legislation to control the levels of hazardous chemicals such as Lead and Chromium used in the manufacture of all electrical goods on the EU Market. In line with with these restrictions all electrical goods bearing this symbol have been tested to ensure full compliance with the levels permitted by the legislation.
