What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program is a mechanism where webmasters can earn extra income by linking to other websites. They receive commission on the purchases of goods or services made by all the visitors they send to those sites.
What is the difference between an affiliate program and a reciprocal link agreement?
There are two major differences.
- The websites in a reciprocal link agreement link to each other. With an affiliate program the website to which you are affiliated does not link back to your site. You are paid commission instead.
- Unlike reciprocal links, which are usually hidden away in some dark corner, to obtain the most commission from an affiliate program the link (or links) you place on your website should be placed in a highly prominent position where they will be seen by as many visitors as possible.

- Cookies expire. With those affiliate programs using cookies you lose the commission on all purchases made by your referrals after their cookie expires. We do not use cookies. How does it work?
The MyHolidayPartner Affiliate Program pays commission on membership fees. When a referral you send sets up a profile with us your affiliate identification code is permanently stored along with their details. If they go on to become a fully paid-up member you receive commission on their joining fee, plus all their renewal fees for as long as they remain a member.
Keep sending us visitors who sign up for membership and you will be adding new commissions to a growing base of renewal commissions. Watch your income grow month after month. The sky is the limit!

Who can join?
The MyHolidayPartner Affiliate program is open to all. However, we specialise in getting people together for holidays or vacations, so it is best suited for travel related websites or any site that has visitors who may be interested in travel.
How do I join?
Joining is simple.
- Step 1: using our simple Affiliate Application Form. Once registered a unique Affiliate Identification Code will be allocated to you which will be used to identify the visitors referred to MyHolidayPartner from your website.
- Step 2: Copy and paste the small piece of code that will be generated for you onto a prominent position on your website. This code will contain your unique Affiliate ID and should be placed where you feel it will attract the most visitors and therefore earn you the most commission. This code opens the link to us in a new browser window so you do not lose the visitors from your own site.
Once registered you will have access to our Affiliate Management System. Here you can select which notification emails you want to receive, such as when a referral registers with us, when they sign up or renew their membership, etc. It also allows you to track the commission due, view a record of past commission paid and allows you to edit your details.
